Our salon actively supports the local community through various outreach efforts, special events, and social activities designed to give back and foster strong, meaningful relationships with our clients and neighbors. By focusing on community engagement, we build trust, create a positive atmosphere, and use our expertise for the greater good.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

• Support for cancer patients: Our staff volunteer their skills for organizations that help cancer patients manage the appearance-related side effects of their treatment, including our annual October Breast Cancer Service Giveaway.

• Local partnerships: We team up with local businesses, such as other salons and organizations, for cross-promotions, givebacks, collabs, and community outreach.

• Sponsorships: We sponsor local sports teams and dance teams, to show our support and boost brand visibility.

EVENTS AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

• Client appreciation days: We regularly host exclusive events for our loyal clients with complimentary mini-services, light snacks, and raffles.

• Seasonal celebrations: We organize holiday-themed parties and promotions for events like Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Juneteenth, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Friendsgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Graduation's, Prom and Birthdays.

• Educational workshops: Our salon hosts workshops and demonstrations to teach clients new techniques, such as barbering and/or hair braiding. We also attend Cosmetology schools in our area to explain our mission and vision for upcoming licensed cosmetologists.

• Social Events: Annually we attend New Haven's Black Wall Street, an event created for locally black-owned businesses. We use this as another way to promote Th3 Cod3, our team, all services offered and to continue to expand our brand throughout our community. We have also partnered up with Harlem Fashion Week and became the Lead "Glam" squad for all events for New York's Fashion week.

• Social media engagement: We build our online community by showing interactive content from all of our events, posting tutorials, posting products offered, and showcasing client transformations on platforms like Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
